In this case, we can ignore the 'game plan' restriction, as there's other compelling reasons for Educated Guess to have Research - shuffling helps you 'get back' the cards on the bottom, and it accelerates you through your deck a bit.

With the new changes to research, this spell is not worth it, as it doesn't help you accelerate through your deck or 'get back' cards on the bottom.
