Should this cycle care about the color of the exiled card?

I think it should to limit splashing them in other color decks for quick mana ramping.
Thus this should be "exile a blue card from your hand", etc.

Also, a Topaz is normally Yellow, why is one making blue mana ?

­Chrome Mox exiles a nonartifact, nonland card. But cares about is color. This can exile anything, but always gives you blue mana, which can be good or bad.

So, I guess the cycle's balanced.
