I do like this. It's a clever tweak on Act of Treason to move the untap out into a Canister, so that when you don't need it (which is quite frequently) you can save the untap for something else.

It's clever, but is it too clever? I would think most people will do what they've always done and untap it for free anyways.

Should this be 2R or 1RR? I would make an argument for 2R since it really isn't a "strict upgrade" over the original. 2R does seem to be the sweet spot for this sort of effect.

Not sure. I really like the idea. But I agree, "gain control, gain haste, untap" just does what most people expect, players may not even notice that this doesn't untap...

I agree about the forgetting it doesn't untap part. I also vouched this for uncommon, but we're testing it at common for now.
