I would probably pick "hand or library" or "graveyard or library". A shorter template:

Research – 2UU (If you cast this spell for 2UU, reveal any number of cards you own named Apprentice Spike in your graveyard or library, then transform and shuffle them into your library.)

Functionally different, as the Research decision happens on casting and it can strand an Apprentice in your hand, but a lot easier to read. (Obviously modeled after Awaken.)

Sure! Don't have a lot of experience with multiverse. The only edit I made to the actual card above was making the 1s and 2s mana symbols, for better legibility.

Mm, good idea Doombringer. I wasn't documenting edits that were purely cleaning up import issues - such as making DFCs work - but I can see how that might get confusing. Thanks for the suggestion.

Pasteur, I like the idea of simplifying it gravely, but I think leaving stranded Apprentice cards in your hand is poor form, you knoW? That just reeks of feel-bad.

The cleaner wording is much nicer though.

Reminder text never references the card by name. Don't say "deck" and when listing zones, alphabetical order is best. It should say:
