I assume this is a deliberate reference to Thunderscape Battlemage? The costs and stats look too similar for it to be accidental. I'd've thought that if you're making a new battlemage cycle, it'd make sense to choose a different base price point for them to the last double-kicker battlemages: perhaps 4-mana 3/3, or 1-mana 1/1. A bunch more 3-mana 2/2s with allied-colour kickers are going to be very confusable for Thornscape Battlemage and friends.
