His name sounds like a character from a spy movie.
By the way it's a bit odd for this to copy auras.
oops. It's only supposed to be instant or sorcery spells
The flavor is Imperial/Mythical Britain
Oh, okay. That's not a flavor I would have expected from a Magic set or from your mechanical basis.
I'm thinking of a dichotomy between Izzet League/League of Extraordianary Gentlemen overworld of human/vedalken artificiers who believes in artifice a solution of all of their problems and an underworld of Lorwynesque magicians/devils/imps/wild elves plotting against each other.
There's an empress of the overworld, who not only is a warrior, but has a court of magicians, courtesans and inventors to attend her court.
In labs of mad genii, artificers create mastercraft shapeshifters that emulate the Great and the Powerful of their world, and Carvolt, the most legendary (and elusive) of them, have rumored to have created golems that embodies the essences of what makes a man/woman great.
The human underworld is led by a mysterious cult, worshipping the anti-thesis of the Purest Faith and wield magic (mostly natural) like never before. The elves, goblins, devils, pixies, noggles, (insert Lorwyn here) and demons are also hidden underground, deemed "uncivilized" and "ugly"
Rumors start fast in the overworld, and many hear tales of hidden bandits in forests. Tales are sung, recorded or written of in small leaflet tomes and immortalized by people and golems who emulate these personages.
Finally, there is an arena of a sort where the aristocracy of the overworld enjoy, where red will be based off of.
That's useful worldbuilding info. You should perhaps put it in a details page, where it's easier to find and where you can keep adding to it as time goes on.
"a dichotomy between Izzet League/League of Extraordianary Gentlemen overworld of human/vedalken artificiers who believes in artifice a solution of all of their problems and an underworld of Lorwynesque magicians/devils/imps/wild elves plotting against each other." - Sounds reminiscent of the world of Gentlemen Magicians. You might like to take a look at it for some fun flavour ideas :)
I think 5 mana and discard a specific card is quite a lot for Radiate. I'd just play Radiate if I wanted that effect: this is quite a big extra hoop. I think the cost could come down to about 3 mana. (Also I don't think it needs the ; the previous Grandeur cycle didn't have costs.)
And yes, I understand some Imitate cards (though not very many of them) allow the "specific" card to be less specific. That's a big hoop to jump through for a fairly fiddly trigger even so.
Ooh, an alternative idea: keep the cost at , but say "For each other permanent or player that spell could target, you may copy that spell copying that permanent or player"? Make Terminate into Plague Wind rather than just Damnation.
