I don't know whether or not this is deliberately subverting the way that Fate Reforged's mechanics only appear in the allied colour pairs (so bolster is only in white and green).
All of the Dragons of Tarkir mechanics only appeared in the two allied colors, right? I guess by "all" I just mean this and dash. Presumably the other three clans will be getting new mechanics as well once we reach their allied-color forms in the next set.
Nich Grayson pointed out to me over here that it's not just the DTK mechanics, but the KTK ones too: there's no prowess in red, no delve in green, and no ferocious in blue.
Ah! I hadn't noticed that at all, I just assumed wedge meant the keyword would be shared amongst all three colours. I feel a bit cheated of "true" wedges, where the enemy colour isn't a third wheel, but that does make a lot of sense for the next set.
(The above only refers to Fate Reforged. Khans of Tarkir certainly does have red prowess - Monastery Swiftspear is the prowess creature that's seen the most Constructed play - as well as green delve, white raid, and so on, so that was more wedge-y. It's just Fate Reforged having to bridge a wedge set and an allied-colour set that puts it under such constraints.)
@Alex I actually hadn't noticed that about the mechanics!
I am DEEPLY amused how close this turns out to be to Enduring Victory.
