Janky combo pieces are one thing. But that loss of life means that only the Johnniest of Johnnies will be able to appreciate the card. The card's tough enough to find a way to abuse... I don't think it needs to kill you by default as well.

But it is a valid combo piece - black loves "Target opponent sacrifices" style effects.
