It feels pretty weird for Delirium, of all of them, to be the Endless which is the most expensive and hardest to cast.
Seems unfinished; given there's no way to flip it, and will die immediately.
What should del do? (Apart from team up with a raven and fight crime, obviously). I have no blinkin idea. I don't remember her ever actually taking action - or, indeed, very often taking responsibility (disclaiming norton...)
That's a toughie. It's gotta be something game changing and unpredictable, I guess. Swap seats with your opponent?
Delirium is the hardest to understand, has the most potential (being the Chaotic Endless) and probably has the hardest things to design.
Delight is her other side, where she sees things more clearly. Given she can only access that "flash of insight" sometimes, I'm thinking making that side flip/Trigger/flip back
This is indeed unfinished. I'm designing one Endless at a time. They are challenging to make.
Hee. That's a pretty interesting effect. You draw N cards, where one of them is the best for you and the others are junk.
What's meant to happen to Delight herself? Presumably she "dies" immediately, but are you wanting the Endless ability from her front side to apply? Currently it won't.
Well, you flip delirium, you do the trigger. It dies. You end your turn. It automatically turns back to Delirium in the graveyard. Next upkeep, delirium is in your graveyard. You return it onto the battlefield.
If rest in peace is in place: You flip delirium, delight gets exiled. You stack the trigger so that it returns to your hand first, then you do Delight's ability. Then you end your turn.
Oh, of course. I was remembering a previous version of Endless which applied on the battlefield; this is much more synergistic than I realised. Good stuff.
