I think this should only hit nonland permanents, otherwise this plus any colorless creature = Armageddon. or does "share a color" mean that it has to have a color?

I'm pretty damn sure "sharing a color" does not work like intimidate. If I weren't, I wouldn't have written it this way.

Now what happens if your lands have become colored for some reason is none of my business :p

Two colorless permanents do not share a color. No need to change it.

I want to run this in a deck with Kormus Bell, Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, and Faith's Reward. Especially with the Alpha Bell that says the lands are colorless, but the errata says they're black.

I knew this reminded me of something. Endemic Plague is what I was thinking of, but Spreading Plague is in some ways closer.

That's about the 4th time I've accidentally recreated my own or an otherwise existing card. XD

ETA: No wait, my version hits all permanents, not just creatures. It's different enough! Phew.

Does anyone else find it bizarre that the oracle text of Kormus Bell turns swamps black when the original wording called out that they were colorless?

Tabak's explanation: "The most recent printing, the one we’re most beholden to, makes them black. They changed it because, you know… reasons. It was a while ago."

Rejected reminder text: "(You are playing Scuttlemutt, right?)"
