My two-headed Giant poster child for My Rework of the Rampage mechanic.
How he works with New Rampage is that he is either an ublocked 2/2 (which isn't great for 4 mana) or a blocked 6/6 Trampler (which IS great for 4 mana). Throw a Lure or something similar on him and watch him go to town.
By "New Rampage" he's referring to the ability on Elvish Berserker, Spined Sliver, Pygmy Troll and so on. (Here's the full list) It's been around since Stronghold, so 12 years ago. So if you're feeling happy that Wizards has "finally" done something after you did it "ages ago", and that you "beat Wizards to it", you may like to check your facts ;) And while I'd love to think that Wizards watch Multiverse (despite MaRo saying he's not allowed to look at home-made cards), I'm pretty sure Multiverse wasn't around 14 years ago during Stronghold design...
That said, your mechanic is very sensible. I'd just avoid calling it Rampage, because that term already has a meaning in the game, and you're effectively proposing errata to a bunch of cards from Alpha.
Errata a bunch of cards from Legends anyway :-) and given the power level/casting cost of cards from back then, you could easily errata them without too much much fuss.
Huh, you're right, rampage was only printed in Legends, Alliances and Mirage. Wizards are currently trying to restore cards to their printed functionality for casual play, but eh, whatever, you can use the name for your mechanic if you like :)
I think it's sensible to use a different name, like you have done.
changed first line to menace from "Canot be blocked by only one creature
