The first sentence of this is awesomely flavourful. Very strong, but you have invested 5-then-4 in it.
The second and third lines are an awful lot of words to say "Pay
instead of
if you control a Troll".
How about making it an activated ability; tapping meant to signify reloading the crossbow
How about making it an activated ability; tapping meant to signify reloading the crossbow. This could technically still be activated during combat if the attacker had vigilance, right?
