yep, i'm pushing for intimidate in blue. this card is one flavor justification. another is that blue outwits the "dumber" colors.

If you only look at the mechanical definition of Intimidate, this makes flavor sense. It certainly is fine for blue's color pie. Unfortunately the word itself doesn't quite jive with the flavor you've constructed here.

well, that's WotC's fault. intimidate doesn't sound like it has anything to do with a creature's color.

I kind of doubt there was a better word to use than intimidation, to be honest... especially since Wizards was set on giving it to black and red most often. That said, I don't think there's anything wrong with something being 'blue intimidating'. Cthulu-esque monstrosities can easily pull that off. This just is just a different flavor s'all.
