An attempt at a red Snapcaster Mage

Yowww. Great after a Faithless Looting discards, say, a Enter the Infinite, or a Rummaging Goblin discards a Primal Surge.

Compare Spelltwine or Sins of the Past. {4}{r} is probably the upper-bound for this particular effect, and it's still overpowered at that cost with regard to your scenarios anyway. But I ain't seeing many people Spelltwinning any of those spells.

I... guess that's fair. I think the problem is that, while Snapcaster is ludicrously good in many ways, it doesn't bypass mana costs. This does, which means it takes on a whole different set of risks.

OTOH, if this is meant to be "a red Snapcaster" as in "a crazily overpowered tournament card", then sure, go for it :)
