Hmm. "If ~ would deal combat damage to a creature it's blocking, you may have it dealt that damage to another target attacking creature instead?"

I wanted to keep the first-strikeish capabilities, so I just gave it first strike to begin with. Problem solved.

Ooh, with first strike! Awesome. So this can block a 3/3 and shoot down a flying 4/2 as well.

Replacement abilities can't target though. Maybe this could be worded like Laccolith Grunt? The Laccoliths had a nice take on firster-strike.
