This seems a stronger effect than would normally be at common. I remember Cephalid Looter and Cephalid Broker. The Broker is pretty powerful at turboing through your deck. OTOH, I guess this does need you to discard two cards before you see any new ones... hmm.

The type line confuses me. What's he spellshaping, Divination? In Latulla, Keldon Overseer style? And you're not paying any mana for it?

­Wild Guess would be the closest. Desperate Ravings could be interesting. The discard two would make it harder to activate, so probably okay at common.
