Ha. I'm sure you know this, but the word "Giant" isn't used like that in creature types... hence Giant Spider is a Spider but isn't a Giant.

As my set already used -1/-1 counters by the time this card was created, I had to work out how to use them instead of +1/+1 counters to represent the shark going into a feeding frenzy. Hopefully this works.

I like the idea but I don't see how this is a U/G creature. The ability just doesn't match the colors. The fact that it has -1/-1 counters on it and requires combat damage to remove them is either B/R or mono B.

Because the set already used +1/+1 counters I couldn't give it a growth effect where you put +1/+1 counters on it (which is green) so I reworked it as removing -1/-1 counters with the justification that this was still growth and thus still green. Its blue because its a fish. I'm actually happier with this version as upkeep fits better than damage for a removal trigger.
