See Explosive Revelation. I think the +1 is ugly, and it seems cooler in just red, personally.

The +1 is there so that if you reveal a land or {0} cost card it will still deal damage.

This is good, you could argue this could be too good but i dont think its really overpowered, considering Riddle of Lightning was played at some point in competitive decks running red Akroma and Greater Gargadon This could be dangerous, this doesnt let you play a little with the top cards and choose wich one, but this one nets you the card. I think is a really cool card, and although the +1 is not often used, i think it has a nice use in this design.
