I think the timing's wrong (when she attacks nothing is blocking her yet) but assuming it works the obvious way I kinda like this.

Almost a shame that she's got first strike; which makes the power reduction part of it almost pointless. Nice tweak on bushido though.

Yep, I agree. It could be worded as "Whenever a creature blocks ~, the blocking creature gets -1/-1 until end of turn." Which is like flanking, I guess.
