New common lands. I do like the old ones, but they feel like normal multicolored lands. This mechanic helps tie lands together, 'tangling' them. I also chose names that should help get a 'what the heck?' feel, as the basic lands are inconguously cutting into each other. Cliff Face Forest, Mountain Delta, Freshwater Swamp, River Plateaus and Canopied Fields.

Changed to sacrificing an untapped land, so the lands don't have to come into play tapped, and you can cast spells on round 2.

Reverted back to the way it originally was. The revised way sounded really good, until I realized that it was almost always better than a basic land. Granted, if you have two of these in your opening hand, you can't play anything on round 1, this card may force you to sacrifice an important land and you have to have the right number of basic land in your deck... but outside of that, strictly better. The way it's written right now, it still allows you to use one mana on round 1, so it's kind of like a land that comes into play tapped.
