Whoa. This seems terrifyingly powerful. I do remember Vault of the Archangel was pretty terrifying too, so I guess let's compare them:

VA>VS: * Grants deathtouch to all your creatures, not just one * Also grants lifelink * Produces mana the turn it arrives * Isn't legendary

VS>VA: * Produces two colours of mana rather than zero * Can annihilate weenies as well

Hmm. Those two plusses are significant, but I guess the lifelink and ETBT are significant differences too. Maybe it's not as terrifyingly overpowered as I thought. (Or maybe Vault of the Archangel is just overpowered too.)

I'd still be scared of this.

Quite powerful, so much that the -1/-1 has gone. Plus, both abilities of the card were "death" oriented. Now there's 1 death & 1 life which is a better fit for Varo's philiosophy.
