This is slightly cheaper than artifacts have been able to destroy creatures repeatedly before. Altar of Shadows cost {7}, which was admittedly pretty expensive. Lux Cannon only does it every three turns. I think the {3} needs to increase a bit.

I think you meantr Altar of Shadows, but you're right, increased activation cost to {5}.
