I chose 'Vanilla/French Vanilla creature', and Random Generator gave me Firebreathing. Specifically, it gave me Unlimted Firebreathing, so I based the flavor around that, cracked open Tennyson's In Memorandum and found an entire poem about the hot winds of the desert. Okay, I can see why R. Garfield didn't use that... the flavor of the card is Firebreathing, not Sandblasting... but there ain't much stopping me from using it.
Two requests from vanilla and two easy cards. This card is almost an annoyance... Firebreathing is too close to French Vanilla for me to convince people that I should use something like 'First Strike' to represent it. So, quasi french vanilla it is. The casting cost and p/t are just simple ones that haven't been used yet.
It's nice to see firebreathing on something with more than 1 toughness.
I like this one. I also think *breathing should have been keyworded; or at least gone back to the :+1/+0 wording. But never mind.
If you're going to keyword *breathing, you need to make sure to do it right. Where "right" is defined as making sure that Foxfire Oak has burninglogbreathing.
This is strictly better than Cinder Crawler (and Pygmy Pyrosaur and Pyric Salamander and Spitfire Handler), but frankly, I'm jolly glad to see that. It's a nice 2-drop firebreather to match Pyre Charger, and more suitable for common than Pyre Charger.
