Where do you exile the creature card from? Graveyard? Could be hand.
Where do you return Stitched Rat to the battlefield from? Graveyard? The cost contains
, but that cost can only be paid tapping the permanent that is already on the battlefield.
It's weird that Stitched Rat returns during combat and triggers the ETB ability to exile and potentially play a creature card, because you don't get to do that until after combat.
The principle ideas of some sort of "impulsive Raise Dead", or a cost-reduced Sitr the Grave, or a unearth-variant for combat, or combining a unearth-variant with an ETB effect that grants card advantage are all individually sound, but as a group this card has a lot going on. You could make two decent individual designs out of this, easily.
Even if cleaned up, the design idea strikes me as more of an uncommon than a common. A color-intensive cost (requires more than one colored mana of a color) is an indicator for that.
As a creature this wants a power/toughness.
