Angelic Favor but without the anti-EOTtricks clause?
Alex, Angelic Favor's Oracle text now says "beginning of the next end step."
I am well aware of what Angelic Favor does and this is indeed based on it.
This does away with the alternate cast ability and the combat only restriction but is otherwise the same card.
Plus, the text was actually lifted directly from Angelic Favor's gatherer entry.
(Just to clear things up: when dude1818 and I had the comment above, this said "Put a 4/4 white Angel creature token with flying OTB. Exile it at the beginning of the next end step." That is indeed the wording of Angelic Favor, but it's got a loophole unless you also include Angelic Favor's "Cast ~ only during combat" line or something similar. The loophole is that you can cast it during the opponent's end step, and then it loses summoning sickness and you can attack with it even without any other cards to grant haste. It's the same as the Waylay "white lightning" trick. That's what I was referring to when I made my comment.)
This is now interesting. It seems at first like Serra Angel but one mana cheaper, but Conundrum Sphinx shows that a 4/4 flyer with a benefit (in this case flash) is okay at 4 mana at rare, and a token-making instant is much more vulnerable and much harder to recur than a creature. So this is probably okay actually. It's an interesting question whether it's Constructed playable.
Yeah the old version no longer fit into the set at uncommon so I decided to alter it to this version and push it to rare figuring that a "Flash Angel" would be OK as a core set "lesser rare".
