Probably needs a counter of some kind as a memory device.

It does need a counter, im thinking about the whole cycle (commons) and will probably ditch the memory ability altogether and make this a 2/3 flying first strike with curve 4 enters with a +1/+1 counter, thoughts?

That sounds like a fine idea (apart from the more wide-reaching problems with the curve mechanic).
