How about rather than getting the emblem you exile Enchanted Rose and use it as marker of an effect:

       "Vanishing 3
If ~ would be put into a graveyard from the battlefield, you may exile it instead. When you do, transform target Human you control. It can't transform for the rest of the game."

It does seem better, yes (though I wanted it to also affect others Werewolves, not only the one it transform). The fact it uses petal counters instead of time ones is mostly for flavor, but I see it's likely too wordy that way.

Vanishing is a set mechanic which one might not be interested to add for just a single card. That, and non-planeswalker sources generating emblems is a taboo. So I do think there are at least justifications for an implementation that's more like the original design. EDIT: Hmm, well you have now added Dying Ghost as well so maybe you're up to making vanishing a set mechanic here.

I would btw put some edit notes on stuff when you change them drastically as otherwise it might get really hard to tell what the card was originally.

Changed back to use petal counters instead of vanishing.

It now only affects one Werewolf, instead of the whole board, and works by becoming an Aura and attaching itself to that Werewolf (previously, it exiled itself, and made so that Werewolves you control could not transform while CARDNAME was in exile)

You should cut down on the double line breaks. The card is illegible.

You should be able to merge the second and third ability to save some space/text size.

removed one \n

Genius/obvious idea: Since this really only makes sense in a set with transform and DFCs, how about we make it a DFC? Enchanted Rose, the artifact, on the front and Legacy of the Rose, the Aura enchantment, on the back?

Also: I get the reason for it being legendary, but there is really no reason the curse of the rose would need to be unique - and neither is there a mechanical reason.

changed to be doublefaced. Changed initial petal counters from three to two. Added a mana cost of 2w. Removed Legendary supertype

You don't need to exile this card for the transformation since it can transition the state from artifact to Aura without dying. It should suffice to write "transform ~ and attach it to a non-Human Werewolf you control".

Or, incidentally, you could keep the exiling and remove the "attached to" clause. When an Aura enters the battlefield like that it automatically attaches to anything it could enchant. Just adding "you control" to the back-face would be all you need.

removed the bracketed part in: "return it transformed to the battlefield [attached to ...]"

I think I like keeping the exiling better (also I don't actually want this to be limited to stuff you control. It had to be so in the very original form since it was permanent and affected the whole board, but now I don't really see a problem in allowing it to enchant stuff you don't control)
