I like the idea of black opportunists and circled back to vultures. How about sapient vulturous avens? Maybe more crow-like than actual vultures?

I considered a black-green morbid/revolt theme anyway and it fits less with idealistic revolutionaries and organized government than skulking profiteers.

I like the idea of corpse-picker birds for the setting enough that I want to try the often seen small Bird token in black this time around.
