Am I seeding plot arcs for New Mirrodin expansions already? Maybe I am...

Hahaha!

Bum bum BUM!

What could possibly go wrong? :P Although actually, it seems you'll have to try quite hard to avoid the later sets just doing New Phyrexia again :)

I think I might get away with "5 bad things are happening" in the expansion. Wizards normally focuses on 'the event', and, when the last set comes out 'the event is solved'. I think I like this set to feel a bit more like Lost in Space or Firefly. Nothing is ever solved, and there's always another problem. In this model, the threat of Phyrexian invasion is an ongoing plot hook, but not the plot. I certainly don't plan on doing another large scale invasion... that would be snooze-ville.
