It's kinda hugely undercosted, sadly. Bathe in Dragonfire, Bombard say this costs 3. Cheaper by 1 if you're willing to limit it to creatures only.
Put another way, I'd say this is better than Lightning Bolt. Bolt may be the best piece of direct damage ever printed, so...

Bathe in Dragonfire/Bombard is the usually correct conservative cost (to hit creatures only).

And yet it's probably the most common archetype for winning matches on Magic Arena right now.
One burn spell sucks. A deck full of burn wins the game.
Yeah you're right, i wasn't really serious...
if you can win a game of modern with a less than 100 dollar deck than the archtype is evidently either a staple or bahroken.
I had an alternate ability on here, you can tell me what you think, i find it less boring.

I'm not sure what I think about it.
I kind of want some sort of ability that represents confusion or dizziness etc... because this represents a Laser that would hurt your eyes..
Ooh maybe restricting library-things?
