yaas a super flavorful old card... so snow based flying hate... sure.
And a over-curve guy that belongs to the meek... flavorfully white? but mechanically should belong to highest life total... unless you dont suppose to have it? man this is stupid card.
Okay so snow hate and life
Maybe hates target player with the lowest life total and something snowy.
So target player with the lowest life total sacrifices all snow permanents?
Meh i dont really want to make a snow card... maybe replace snow with just lands? sure.
Target player with the lowest life total sacrifices a land? Hm, that feels black... Sure we can do that.
Moving to the lowest life total is pure mechanical balance; and white does like its balance.
Or you put a load of horrible curses on it and give it to someone else :)
Or you have opponents not wanting to hit you too hard in multiplayer; because as long as they're on the lowest life they get to keep it. (Though it's not really that good, for that to be a huge factor).
This... wow, this is a very nasty headwind. Black very very very rarely gets land destruction. Like, never nowadays. Black does certainly get aggro-rush strategies, which this plays into quite nicely. Hit them a bit turn 2, drop this turn 3 - win.
It's just quite a lot too good at it. And land destruction is very much a hated thing to play against.
Love the flavour though. "Yup, on this plane, mana is govt regulated. Govt not paying its bills this month? No mana."
