Is this a play off of Liliana's Caress being "better" than Megrim and Honor of the Pure being less harshly costed than Crusade?

Honor the Pure isn't strictly less harshly costed than Crusade - HtP only pumps your white creatures, whereas Crusade pumps all White creatures.
I just figured adding Vigilance to HtP warranted the bump to at least WW.
As a side note, I never even considered the Liliana's Caress / Megrim variance when creating this card.
