"Kinetic Harpoon" is a euphemism for "pointy rock dropped from orbit" :)
This is probably the orbital weapon most dangerous to copy, but I like the flavour. Is it ok?
Doh. I chose the colonists to be Nantuko and Rhox, two creature types I wanted to do more with, but only now realised those are actually races with creature type "rhino" and "insect".
But I want token making cards to say "a nantuko token" not "an insect token", because insect token sounds like it means a bug, not an intelligent being.
Can I convey it with art and flavour text (even though I probably won't actually use any)? Or anything else?
I need to decide what tokens to support. Currently there are 1/1 nantuko and 2/2 rhox, but I'm not sure if they should be scouts, soldiers, ranchers or something else. I ideally want a type that can be reused for a couple of different cards. The Nantuko and Rhox tokens can be the same or different type.
Is this reasonable as the white entry into a cycle of Tractor Beam and some sort of red burn spell with Orbital Weapon?
2/2 can be Nantuko but Rhox is better.
"Colony Ship" is more white than blue. Blue should have a big science-y ship. (Any ideas?)
Is this reasonable? White hasn't got quite flying 1/4 for 3 mana, but has a lot of 2W 1/3 flying upside and similar things around that area. I could add defender.
Hover should be a slight downgrade on flying, but that probably doesn't matter that much here.
Changed name, was Orbital Shuttle
Smartfruit.
Drone? Battle-Droneship?
I'd say something simple like "Armoured" might do fine.
Reduced activate cost.
Better word than "semi-autonomous" to suggest the same thing? Enough self-propelled-ness to be threatening and defend itself, but not so much it outclasses whatever the mewling flatland dwellers might throw back at it.
