It's like an Un-set variation on Decimate without actually being a ham-fisted pun of a card.
That's awesome.
It's funny. I knew I wanted a small but aggressive red dude in a rare slot. I also knew I wanted more ways for Serix to be commenting on Marrick's campaign. Gito Boots sort of happened somewhere between; a sidekick or mascot running along beside Marrick that the public would find charming in a goofy way. Good stuff for Serix to write about.
I've dropped Gito's power to 1 so that he's fairly easy to block if he becomes a problem.
If it hits only creatures and does 2 damage then it's a bomb: you have 5 creatures I have 3 creatures, cast this, swing, take out half your side (or more) and then punch through for damage. That's a beating and a half. Or worse, reverse that: you have 5, I have 3, you cast this, then win.
Alternately, it could only hit creatures, or hit both for 1 a piece.
Good place to put a double-colored cost; Hellrider is a vicious beating of a card, and this isn't far off.
2 mana + 2 creatures to do 4 damage?
This should maybe cost 3 or only be able to target players. I like it because it has a great chance to end stalemates but it also could break games in half.
Great leaders don't make anyone do things, they empower them. She's both empowering them AND learning from them. And as a wizard, she can tap herself when she EIBs so it's not like she's doing it alone.
Cadmus is already the loner and Pinn, via story, becomes isolated. As the head of the Division though, wouldn't she be working with everyone to make better products? Even geniuses work within structures and with people-Jobs, Gates, Einstein, as awesome as they may have been, they didn't do it all by themselves.
Tribal cards quickly become over the top powerful and ones that let you draw are even crazier.
But, if we want to demonstrate Pinn's isolation, give her Should. At 1/3, the stats aren't out of hand and it can show that while she works with others, she's still alone at the top.
If this is an Elf, does that give it too much durability? That tribe is pretty savage and the basis for a solid combo deck to begin with. Should it be given encouragement?
It's undercosted by 1, I think. Don't get me wrong; It's savage against control and I like that, but you've essentially given every weenie/stompy/red deck a reason to splash green b/c this says: my creatures have haste, since EOT I'll make a G and then drop 3 creatures.
Wow. This is really, really good.
The card does what I intend it to do, but the name is likely wrong.
I'm coming around to Dan's proposal — I'd seen it before via email — but it means she does nothing on her own. Is it fair for her to make Wizard tokens also?
Dan, I'm not actually suggesting that he do the things I was putting forward, just trying to demonstrate that this is an opportunity to go above and beyond.
Azami, Lady of Scrolls with a built-in Seedborn Muse is flavorful, but does it really demonstrate the character's intelligence? Why is she making her minions do everything?
