I intend to have creatures abilities triggered when they shirk, which is why I keyworded it. The most basic creatures with shirk would be a vanilla like Thraben Purebloods with shirk 1.
Nah, go ahead. I'd been wanting to figure out how to represent settling in Diaspora and finally just figured to do Soulbond with a land instead of a creature.
Thumbs up for Settle. It looks fun to play around with. In fact, I might pop some cards into Cards With No Home using settle. Hopefully that doesn't offend you.
Is the final ability here meant to be activated or triggered? It seems pretty useless as a triggered ability.
As an activated ability, it should probably read, "Tap a land paired with ~: ~ can't be the target of green [stuff] UEOT;" or "The land paired with ~ has ': The creature paired with this can't be the target of green [stuff] this turn."
Jokes aside, I don't get shirk. Is it intended to be Absorb, as on Lymph Sliver? Or is it just a one-time damage prevention effect? If it's the latter, I don't understand why it's a keyword that creatures can gain.
I have to make sure that you realize that the way this is worded means that nobody can successfully cast a spell at anything other than instant speed. This would utterly shut down a lot of decks.

Yeah, it's meant to be activated. It's interesting that either way works. I think I prefer the first; to me it reads more like a Magic card.

...Senbonzakura!
I was lazy with the edit :p
Why not just give all creatures deathtouch?
