not entirely sure why infuse triggers on the spell being cast rather than the creature ETB'ing, would make the rules text a lot simpler

It was originally that, but I wasn't happy with it triggering off token creatures due to some strong/potentially broken interactions. I could probably change it to "Whenever a nontoken creature enters the battlefield" and yeah that would clean it up tonnes.
