Yeah I think again with these lineage things, just so much cleaner if it's something like
'whenever a druid you control dies, blah blah'
I understand that this is changing the card, but just feels so much neater this way. I dunno, should probably try to get your thoughts on what exactly you want lineage to be, etc.
This doesn't address olbro's beef but I would consider making Lineage an ETB thing, instead of a death trigger. Potentially more flavorful ("I am Gimli, son of Gloin!" he exclaims as he steps over his father's grave to enter the battlefield) and less Haunt-ish vibes.
I also just don't think it's a very prominent mechanic in its current form. I can envision drafting a deck where half your creatures have Lineage and you might get like 1 trigger off it in the course of a game. Making it ETB would address this.
