Hmm. I'm not sure if the Tinkers belong in green. This tap ability, for instance, is quite white.
That's a very suitable representation of the Horn.
What do Taint counters do?
I really, really don't understand how this represents Min's ability.
Also, mono-blue doesn't get haste.
Madness is already a Magic mechanic (See Basking Rootwalla. It's also not good for a mechanic to exist purely as a drawback.
This is a fine green ability.
This seems like a red ability. Grolm attack in packs, so I think this fits, but it needs some thought.
Padan Fain is a crazy dude, but this might not fit his flavor very well.
Thanks!
This ability was mostly for flavor for that character. The two components of the ability are necessary for the character, though some added benefit would help quite a bit. What about "Target opponent reveals his or her hand. You choose a card from it. That player may play that card without paying its mana cost on his or her next turn. You may choose another card from it. That player discards that card."
I'm not a big fan of that, it seems to make it complicated, and doesn't fit her flavor as well. Any suggestions on how to keep it similar, but not horrible?
One thing that doesn't make it quite as bad (though still bad), is that it doesn't specify non-land card.
This card was originally a Preordain reprint, but I know Preordain is a little too powerful. I think I went a little too far in the de-powering of it though. I'm thinking about changing it to target opponent, dropping the cost, and adding the draw.
The problem seems to be the ability to mess with other people's libraries. How much does that cost? I don't know. What I do know is that Architects of Will costs four mana for a 3/3 with this ability and the ability to cycle for cheap. And I've played the architects enough times. It's decidedly so/so.
Given Listen to the Wind doesn't draw you a card, I'd be willing to believe it just costs . I mean, you can really mess with an opponent. But the same could be said about the Pain side of Pain // Suffering. By making an opponent discard a card, you could really mess with someone. So what? You're down a card, and so are they.
Looks a lot worse than Portent. And okay, Portent is a good card, and you don't have to be as good as Ponder; but comparing this to Ponder it's 1) more expensive, 2) doesn't give you the shuffle option, and 3) doesn't draw a card. That seems quite a lot of negatives.
Hm. That's a rather strange ability. At the moment it reads like a pure downside: you're forced to let your opponent cast one of their cards for free. What's the benefit to you? Why would you ever activate that ability?
