Lore. There's only a single race in Coaxkika, and they're shapeshifters called Nochtlaca. In childhood they can take a shape inspired by any creature. In adulthood most lose the ability and remain in a form based on a single creature. A few powerful Nochtlaca retain the ability to take different forms (ex the Druid of the Lush cycle).
What's up with all these "shapeshifters"? Is it a lore thing? Mechanically they have nothing that would make them feel like shapeshifters which is kinda just sad :(

Super "meh". Sedge Scorpion? Also at uncommon
got Wasteland Viper.
Probably should exile itself on resolution.

Is it
"when ~ becomes blocked by a white creature, untap ~"
or
"if ~ would become blocked by a white creature, untap ~ instead"
?
I think it's the former since I don't even know what the second one does really.
"If" is used for replacement effects - "when" for triggered.
That name though...
This set needs desperately commas. I had to look for a while to get what is this thing about "life permanents".
