Choose target creature you don't control. It fights each creature you control. (It deals damage equal to its power to each creature you control, and each creature you control deals damage to it equal to their powers.)

It feels like this should have a counter, or a way to grant counters to things; or something. Just so its ability always does SOMETHING.
Maybe ETB: Put a +1 counter on target creature ? Though then it's a 4/4 itself which is kinda good. Maybe drop another kind of counter? Which is a teaching mechanism too?
1/1 for 4 lel. It feels strange to have such heavy-handed build around lord as a common. It would be more proper at uncommon and it could also have more complexity there so it could like enter with a counter on it that it could spend for an effect for example. I mean, I guess there's aid so whatever on having a second ability.
Nifty, though I could see this being absolutely backbreaking - especially in early game.

mmm, good point. i think i'll try to keep the cost low to make synchronize achievable. i'll try pay for now, I can change it later if it proves too powerful/weak in playtest.
Oh. Now I think it's way too bad. I completely agree with Alex (as I said, Convolute is a favorite of mine), but here the way to make it a Cancel is very hard and without synchronize it is really very bad.
I suggested unless they pay , but I think I like unless they pay is more interesting, because synchronize doesn't really want a three-mana counterspell.
alright. bumping up to
V: There's a role for splashable-but-expensive counterspells, with only one in the mana cost and therefore conditional on something (because you need two to get a hard counter). I think of Convolute, Frazzle, Scatter Arc, Hindering Touch, and Mindstatic. (Well, okay, some of them I searched up instead.)
What I'm saying is, this would be fine at - counter-unless-pay-.
Can't cost more - because if it did, you'd just use a proper unconditional Counterspell.
Also, are you REALLY going to keep up mana to cast two spells during your opponents turn?
Or, perhaps more feasibly, the casting cost should be increased.
