Thinkers

The Thinkers are a race of short, stout humanoids with pink, wrinkled skin and large, throbbing heads. They are naturally paralyzed, and almost incapable of moving at all. They have remarkably fast mental speed as well as three, large, leaky eyes that change colors depending on what they are contemplating. Thinkers spend most their life in contemplation and do not require any nourishment other than the secretion of their eyes, which collect in their jowls and absorb into their pores over time. For this reason, they are in a constant need of thought to survive. Thinkers are born with many faculties that take whiles to develop in the average animal. They are fully mature within a few days, and grow to be about 3 feet tall. They hatch from eggs that are lied by a parent. Thinkers are genderless but are often born with aspects of femininity or masculinity wired into their thinking and feeling.

Thinker Eggs are only made during extreme epiphanies, making their race quite rare. They have no natural predators as their meat is almost inpalpable and their secretions give off a warding scent. Their last line of defense is to make eye contact with their assailant and forcefully change their eye colors, which can often confuse and push away any lowly beast. Thinkers do not feel very much pain, even the most agonizing sensation to them is but a mild discomfort. However, this lack of nervous sensation does not work the same way with their usual senses. Although Thinkers are quire short-sighted, they are capable of sensing their surroundings and even the source of certain things like wind or nearby floral smells with the lashes on their third eye, which they also open only for moments at a time to absorb knowledge and process intense realizations.

Finally, Thinkers have a lifespan of about 20-100 years depending on their condition. Stress is detrimental to their health and a few bad encounters are likely to lower their lifespan by decades at a time. A thinker can become depressed like a normal human just due to mental thoughts or bad biochemistry. This can result in them losing the will to think which will result in them starving to death, which is fairly painful, but mostly just emotionally devastating. Thinkers who have made great personal discoveries can very rarely communicate them, but all are capable of it mentally, they do not have the physical threshold to perform those actions.

Seekers

Seekers are small, Eye-like creatures capable of teleportation and tracking via sensory input. They are naturally made when a Thinker dies, if that Thinker had substantial intelligence and progress in their though fields.

Seekers have shorter life spans and do not collect information that is irrelevant to the intrinsic purpose they decide for themselves they wish to understand. While Thinkers go-wide, Seekers go-tall. Most seekers do not reach the same level of satisfaction as Thinkers do.
