"When you cast your first noncreature spell each turn, untap..." There doesn't seem to be any red in this card
It's an enabler for the WUR noncreature spell theme.
Prowess would be nice in this set, so i might add four or five of those at common uncommon and rare
im gonna make this a 0 drop.
Hmmm. So I can run this, and I get a conditional 'pay 1, cantrip, discard a card, artifact enters play'.
Or, I could not run this card; not need the cantrip because I drew that card instead of this one already, and save myself a mana and not have to wait for the condition?
So th only reason to run this is if the set has 'affenity for artifacts' (which it had better not have) or some other 'artifacts in play matter' theme.
It looks like maybe the latter? But there's no way to tap this; no reason to give it hexproof, I can cheat it into play by paing
instead of
yeahno, oh hey! I can untap it for free if I can somehow tap it :)
So this looks like it's supposd to be an enabler for a theme. But right now, it isn't. Ooops?
What is the motivation behind this design? What purpose is it trying to fulfill? That would help with reviewing the card since atm it seems rather awkward.
I meant to write another
I will probably lower this cost by 1 and change the requirements
i swear i saw that misprinted somewhere on real cards and i dont think ill ever get this right on my own.
It's a very minor technicality, but kinda sucks I get it wrong so often (even as i am, knowing the proper order of abilities to be written on a card)
well said.
I'm probably gonna change it to match the name better
that bauble ability is really cool i've somehow avoided it until now.
I'm gonna keep the cost 3 higher rather than just 1 or 2 for the flash (maybe 2 cus quite versatile and synergy with this effect), because its a common and so ive learned its not good to have them too easy to put out because they already so easy to get.
Tell me if my reasonings aight there
