If you want to use 2 abilities, maybe make the second one related to the first?

Like whenever a creature you control dies, gain 1 life? for example

What you have now, or levelling up, are both very cool prospects, and it would be even neater if you find a way to explore both

I thought so, too, about the wording, but oracle text actually doesn't use "of" (i.e. Illusory Wrappings, Tezzeret's Touch).

Number of thaw counters to 'turn on' are certainly a tuning dial (I was waffling between seven and nine here but higher is possible). I was also toying with using the Level Up frames from Rise of the Eldrazi, but I think this is a workable solution.

interesting... not sure how often you will be using mass thaw making in this set, if you are using it often, i would increase the cost of this card because it would be powerful to play a 3 drop, and then a few thaw makers, and have a 5/7 legendary mythic on turn 4 :P

the last ability makes sense, because there should be a way of putting thaw counters on it, but thw additional scry 1 is weird because it is not yet legendary, so i would keep it vanill until you get it to go legendary, that is just an opinon though, all the well if you choose to keep it, i love scrying especially on little guys (as Vende is until getting legendary, at which point you won't need the last ability as much)

Also the wording is a bit weird, and i think you messed up a line: it should be "and has base power and toughness OF 1/3"

otherwise this card looks pretty cool and i am a fan! looking forward to the other ones!
