i thought so. My brother is pretty knowledgeable but sometimes i do question that stuff :P
I think rebel might be a bit closer to a dissenter, but again rogue is less specific so therefore might just slide in better with it.
I was going to search what type they were in amonkhet, well as it turns out here is only 1 creature that is a dissenter by name and it has no type other than human. way to call dissenter's classless mtg! offended!
So i guess i'll have to decide on my own... i guess rebels.. i'd like to help make that bridge. But also rogue is a theme i'd like to save for elsewhere. if i use rebel now it will be synergous when i return it in silvania
Rebel always seemed to me like it could be expanded into red as well.
And I have no idea why Rogue is monoblue according to your source. Maybe you should use Gatherer or magiccards.info as source and find stuff like Night Market Lookout and Keldon Vandals.
Right now there are five more monoblack Rogues than monoblue Rogues...
tryna think what the red black creature type should be...
rebel, rogue, raider, bandit, dissenter, etc..
i thought rebel but apparently that isnt r/b it is apparently w/b... but i think it fits red black philosophy to be in there... also dissenter isnt a type, and raider/bandit doesnt fit thematically at all. rogue sounds okay, but apparently that is monoblue
my sources? wurms
blue / black - horrors
white / red - noblemen (RW Auras. new ability word Noble - "Whenever this creature becomes enchanted X", DS will make an evergreen appearance)
white / green - leonin (populate)
red / black - dissenters (type = Rebel. Similar to Camadoon (burn, discard), a pair of ritual creatures that can be sacked to add MM of the opposite color)
- cyber artifacts (a card that destroys target colored permanent)
