Generating Your Sealed Deck
PVM is best played using a 40-card sealed deck from your favorite plane.
- Normal Way
- Quick Way
- Can I just use my own deck?
- Isn't Mind Grind an instant win?
Once you're done, go to Basic Rules.
Normal Way (I'll build my own deck):
Create a random sealed pool
- Go to http://drafts.ninja/ (or its mirrors at http://dr4ft.com/ and http://trsbox.net/)
- Click 'sealed', and select your six booster packs, then click 'create', then 'start'.
Build your deck
- Move cards between the main board and sideboard by single clicking on them.
- Shift-clicking cards moves them to "junk".
- The site has multiple sorting and viewing options to help.
- Add any number of basic lands. Minimum deck size is 40 cards.
After you're done, save your deck
- Click 'Copy' (a deck list is created + selected), press Ctrl+C to copy it
- Open cockatrice, click Deck Editor - Load Deck From Clipboard - Ok. Save your deck.
Quick Way: (I just want to play, the computer can make my deck)
- Go to http://draftsim.com
- Click on Sealed, then the set code. As of now, there are only a limited number of sets you can use.
- Click "autobuild".
- Scroll to the bottom and copy all the text of your deck.
- Open cockatrice, click Deck Editor - Load Deck From Clipboard - Ok
- Save your deck.
Can I just use my own deck?
- Sure, but remember that these decks are balanced with sealed in mind.
