Seems quite wild and complex for a common. Maybe with some plain tokens in the set such as 1/1 vanilla soldiers, but with repose this is kind of crazy. This card is also just a random common here, and not some block mechanic itself, so it's really coming from the left field.

I know this one. That's Rootborn Defenses.

You made the card text even more complex than just replacing the keyword and now it feels uncommon.

The name feels like a flavour miss too - a cautionary tale is usually "Something BAD happens, and so you smarten up"; where this is "Something GOOD happens, so, uh, something else good happens too?" which isn't narratively satisfying as a cautionary tale now, is it?

My personal defense mechanisms are kicking in lol. This was originally a functional reprint of rootborn defenses in the old tuvia when populate was a mechanic.

Now I need a new combat trick.
