Random Generator gave me Wiitigo and Fireball. I shaved a little off the Wiitigo ability, because it's a little needlessly wordy. Wiitigo isn't for blocking, anyway.
Rather unfortunately, Time Spiral did most of this before, in Shape of the Wiitigo. But a scalable SotW is still a good card.
Yeah, that's a shame. OTOH, it would be quite funny if you include some reprints in this set (although the reprint doesn't quite have the 'fireball' component) :)
I'll keep that in mind Jack. I might get lucky enough to get exactly two cards that lead to a mashup, and just reprint that card. Even better with new flavor text. It should make a few drafters scratch their heads at least.
also, I find it funny that an acceptable play may be:
Turn 1: 1 drop creature.
Turn 2: Wiitigo's Appetite for 0. Wiitigo's Appetite for 0. Swing for 1. End of turn, put two +1/+1 counters on my creature. Pass the turn.
Very risky, but kind of cool.
If you start with Gladecover Scout or slippery bogle that might not be bad at all. Definitely risky to invest two auras in this, but if your opponent can't catch up with the growth it might be well worth playing this for 0
