Awesome! I definitely see Death Match; what else is this, Vernal Equinox? Sever Soul?
Good Call, Alex! Death Match was just a flavor tie of the two cards working together, but you called the randomly generated cards exactly. It's rather annoying when I make a comment as to what two cards are generated, then notice a small detail that needs to be changed, hit edit and completely forget to post my two paragraph comment. Oh well. I know it talked about how this card almost ended up as a Planeswalker, since linking these two cards together was really difficult... I almost used the approach of +1 Vernal Equinox, -1 Sever Soul, -7 Ultimate that uses Equinox and Soul in some odd strategy. But the ultimate was almost always too strange or wordy to print.
