I think the design is more interesting as it is. Dismiss-on-a-stick is obviously good, whereas this requires a certain dedication to get working to your benefit.

Dismiss on a stick would be very, very good, and I wanted to keep this cost efficient. I know there's a good group of people who like Hatching Plans because of the mystery of how to get rid of it. It's much easier to sacrifice creatures (or emergency Shock your creature, lets say) but timing sure is an issue with this card. Does that make the card more 'fun'? I suppose that depends on who you talk to. I love cards that make you work for it. Many other people immediately scowl like I showed them a picture of Pauly Shore marrying their daughter.

FWIW, I very much like this card, and would definitely play it in casual.
