Random Generator gave me Giant Spider and Ghazbán Ogre. That ogre is not my favorite ability, but I do remember having fun in large group games back in the day where people would compete to get the token Ogre, so I get it. Despite my 'getting it', I chose to unget it a little and reward players who do a lot of incremental life gaining instead (that was, after all, the player who got the Ogre in the end).
Oh, also, if I had complete control of the universe, the flavor text would have alt-text that read "By contrast, the Ghazbán Ogre is just an idiot."
Originally, this was a 2/4, but that was based on a world where gaining life only happened in one in six matchups. As it stands now, Magic: the Gathering Alpha has a cycle of common boons, and will have two life gain spells in common in both green and white (and if another one pops up, I'll probably let it join the fun). That means, in a draft, you'd be unlikely not to see a lifegain spell. Increased to 2/5 to reflect that.
